Eagle Service Project Man Power

Postby 9009scoutmaster » Fri Jul 18, 2008 5:55 pm

Man Power should never be a problem on a Eagle service Project if we as unit leader's do our job.

We have 4 or 5 packs and troops in our area that have a saying, "Eagle Scout Service Project, just tell us --- WHEN, WHERE, AND WHAT DO WE NEED TO BRING."

What he meant to say is if the Eagle candidate does his job...not the job of the UL to get manpower for an EP.

The Eagle candidate is responsible for recruiting for his project. I believe that 9009scoutmaster meant that the recruitment will be a snap if we as leaders run a good program that encourages cheerful service and support of fellow scouts.
