Favorite Dutch Oven Recipe Links

If any of the boys are working on Cooking and want some Dutch
Oven recipes or if groups want new ideas for camping meals,
then these are some of my favorite Dutch Oven links for
recipes:

International Dutch Oven Society Recipes

http://www.idos.com/Recipes/archives/recarc.htm

Byron’s Dutch Oven Recipes

http://papadutch.home.comcast.net/dutch ... tm#Recipes

MSN Group Good Family Recipes (Camping and Tin Foil etc page)

Scoutorama Dutch Oven Recipes

If you’ve never seasoned cast iron, then you might want to
read my directions at Epinions.com. I have the same user name
there, and here is the link for cast iron care:

I'll bet it can be done. I don't know how to make them at home
though, so I don't know any tips for cooking out.

You should have a cooking contest between the patrols in your
troop either during a weekly meeting if possible or during an
outing. A lot of the camporees lately have had leader cooking
contests... which are usually a lot of fun!

Our patrol always like to make doughnuts on camping trips....
very easy to do in a dutch oven... just don't get the grease
TOO HOT!
