I even wear it to our district committee meetings when no one else does.

All the time, but our unit will take theirs off to a Class B for dirty work/play.

The question is hard to answer clearly.

I wear my uniform to all scout functions (except occasionally a 'class b' for dirty activities).

WE is harder. I can't convince some of the boys to wear their uniforms. A few will wear them to all scout functions, and a few will never wear them. Some will wear them to most scout functions.

We have "class B" t-shirt - first venturers in crew a few years ago had a logo designed - we sell the shirts at cost ($6 - I expect this to go up eventually :( ). Per our Bylaws, class B & jeans are acceptable at all times IF the OPTIONAL "class A" (green shirt) is not owned. Jeans still apply - most of our kids simply can't afford more than that. Venturing is still new enough that clothes closets are extremely limited. Some of our scouts have paid for class A through fundraisers. If they staff Council events, green is required - we've had some kids borrow from other members in these cases.

Always in one of the uniforms when traveling. Always when in public view (green shirt is a great conversation starter!). Always at meetings unless circumstances prevent it (coming in late from a practice, etc.). That's just about every time! Exception - not camping at a BSA camp - then class C (any school dress code appropriate t-shirt) is allowed once we're in camp. At BSA camps we try to keep in our class B or other class B (any shirt from a scout camp or activity).

If my son had 7 of them he would wear one each day of the week. He takes a lot of pride in wearing his uniform. He says it shows others who he is. My feeling is wear your uniform when ever you can to show others what they are missing out on if they are not part of the scouting program.

If I define WE as my son and I, then At all Scout functions it is.

Well, almost. When only the staff is at a camp setting up (i.e. NYLT) it's usually not uniform for a couple reasons. First, I start the first day directly from work and don't change. Second, we are there for over a week and I save the Scout uniforms and t-shirts from the heavy sweat so I at least have a chance of standing the smell at the end of the week.

This year when several of us were there for 11 straight days (in July), one of the others had to run home for a day and he gathered up other folks shirts and socks and washed, dried, and folded them :D then brought them back to us (consider him a lifesaver!).

If WE means the other Scouts that I know, then the vote would have to slip down a notch.

Uniform at at all scouting events except work parties. Then, we switch to a troop T-shirt/golf shirt with BSA and troop logo on the left breast and jeans.
