Is this something new? I did not know that the Safety Merit Badge required an exam.

No it isn't required but it is a good way for the boys to go over the information. It has nothing to do with their earning the badge. Just another resource. But the site also has some other exams. When Kevin worked on First Aid. The exam he was given was from this site.
He liked doing it. They used both the scout book and the First Aid Work book.

I am sorry but for some odd reason I can not get to the site. Is that the sites full address? I just copied and pasted. Did I forget something? Let me know.

didn't work. It seems like a really comercial site. Maybe I'm just looking in the wrong area.

This link was added to the MeritBadge.com camping merit badge requirements page a few weeks ago. It actually has lots of stuff for other things but camping is the largest focus.

Hey, that actually looks pretty decent. They kept the commercial part to a minimum as well.
