Postby wagionvigil » Wed Jun 16, 2010 7:09 am

Philmont Scout Ranch will be able to allow 1000 more scouts a year enjoy scouting ultimate adventure. Property owned by Ted Turner has been opened up to the ranch. This was discussed at our Area Meeting yesterday. I believe this is property is on the north part of the ranch

I do not know if the is the property in question, but adjacent to the Dean Cow staff camp, which is sort of on NE side, is Ted's property.

Actually Bill & Jane split some time ago. I doubt Jane would have anything to do with us.

I am all over the bison burgers though

Actually, I think it is Dick and Jane. I hear they're lots of fun to be around, and are running enthusiasts.

So has he actually donated the land to Philmont, or has he given permission for the ranch to use his land while he retains ownership?
