JASMs for Jamboree - Registration PROBLEM

Postby Billiken » Wed Aug 20, 2008 9:58 am

Last night at our 2010 Jambo Contingent Leaders Meeting we were notified that the registration for our four JASMs (or the 3rd SA) was messed up.

This problem applies to Scouts, currently NOT 18, but who will be 18 by July 2010.

Apparently, these Scouts were initially told register using Jambo STAFF link in myscouting.org.
(They couldn't register as adults as they currently are younger than 18.)

BSA Tech Support in Texas is aware of this problem.

Our four JASMs have been in voice and e-mail contact with tech support staff.
"We're working on a solution."

If you are or know of any Scouts (not yet 18) who will be attending as leaders, they should contact their local council office for correction of this issue.
"The only problem with Boy Scouts is, there aren't enough of them." Will Rogers
